On this page
In short
- It reminds and listens — it is not a doctor or an emergency service.
- Calls need the person's recorded consent, and they can stop them at any time.
- No payment is taken during the pilot.
- You can pause, delete or leave at any time.
1.The service
Care Companion places scheduled phone calls in Telugu to the elderly person you set up, to remind them about medicines and ask briefly how they are. You see the results in the web app and get alerts by email if you choose.
2.Not a medical or emergency service
Please read this carefully:
- The assistant never gives medical advice, never diagnoses and never suggests or changes doses. Always follow the doctor's instructions.
- It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 108 or 112.
- Results show what the person said on the call. An unclear or missing answer is shown as “not verified”, and a connected call is never proof a medicine was taken.
- The service supports family care; it does not replace it.
3.Your account
You must be 18 or older, give accurate details, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
4.Consent of the person being called
You must explain the service to the person and record their consent before any call. Don't set up calls for anyone who hasn't agreed. They can stop the calls at any time, and we will respect that immediately.
5.Medicines and schedules
Enter medicines and times exactly as the clinician prescribed. You are responsible for keeping them accurate and up to date. We only remind — we never instruct.
6.Calls and limits
Calls happen only within the calling hours you set — never during quiet hours. Retries are limited, and each plan has fair-use limits. Calls can occasionally fail or be delayed (for example because of network problems), so the service is not guaranteed to reach the person every time.
7.Pricing
Plans are priced per person, per month: ₹123, ₹246 and ₹369 for 1, 2 or 3 daily calls, plus 18% GST. No payment is collected during the free trial. We will tell you clearly before billing starts, and prices may change with notice.
8.Pausing and cancelling
You can pause calls, delete a profile or delete your account at any time from the app. Once billing starts, you will be able to cancel at any time, effective at the end of the billing period.
9.Acceptable use
Don't use the service to call anyone without their consent, to harass anyone, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
10.Our responsibility
During the pilot the service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for missed or delayed calls, or for decisions made on the basis of call results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
11.Changes and ending the service
We may update these terms; we'll tell you before important changes take effect. You may stop using the service at any time.
12.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts with jurisdiction will be confirmed before launch.
